Per month, in USD. An active trader is one who placed at least one order during the billing month. The platform fee applies to any deployment including Operations and is not waived at volume; Nexus Connect on its own has no minimum. [Estimate your bill](/pricing/calculator).

How the two products fit together

They are deliberately separable, because firms arrive in different states.

Nexus Connect is the trading layer: the licensed real-time data feed and the simulated execution environment that evaluations are conducted in. If you already have a back office you are happy with, you can take Connect on its own and keep it — there is no platform fee and no minimum, so a small program can start at almost nothing.

The Nexus Operations Platform is everything around the trade: the branded trader dashboard, the operations CRM, risk authority, payout workflow, fraud prevention and support. If you are running someone else's trading stack but your operations are held together by spreadsheets, you can take the platform on its own.

Taking both is $35 per trader rather than $40 because the combination is genuinely cheaper for us to run — one account record instead of an integration boundary, one support surface, one place a breach is decided. That saving is passed through rather than kept.

The $5,000 platform fee applies to any deployment that includes the Operations Platform. It covers the operational floor a firm needs whether it has 40 traders or 400 — the hosting, the environments, the support surface and the operator tooling that exist regardless of headcount. It is not waived at volume, and we would rather say so here than discover it with you on a call.

What the price includes

The whole product, not a tier

There is no feature gating between plan levels. A firm with 40 traders gets the same platform as a firm with 4,000 — competitions, education, affiliates, fraud network access and all of it.

White-label branding

Your brand, your domain, your copy, across the dashboard and the trading workspace. Traders do not encounter Nexus.

Hosting and infrastructure

Compute, storage and environments for your deployment. No separate infrastructure line to reconcile.

Updates and support

Platform updates and operator support are included. You are not quoted separately for fixes.

How billing actually works

You are billed monthly in arrears on the number of active traders — traders who placed at least one order during the billing month. A trader who bought an evaluation and never traded does not bill. A trader who breached on day three and stopped bills for that month and not the next.

This is deliberate. Billing on accounts provisioned rather than accounts used would charge you for your churn, which would mean your platform cost rising fastest exactly when your program is converting worst.

One trader with several accounts is one active trader. The unit is the person, not the account, which matters if your program sells multiple evaluations to the same trader.

What is not included

Payment processingYour payment providerPer-transaction fees on evaluation sales, resets and add-ons
Payout railsYour payout providerPer-payout cost, which varies significantly by destination and method
Identity verificationYour KYC providerTypically per verification attempt
Exchange fees beyond the included feedThe exchangeAdditional venues or entitlement scope outside the standard program are quoted separately
Your operations headcountYouSupport, payout review and risk operations. Usually the largest ongoing line in any prop firm — model it here
These are pass-through or third-party costs. They are listed here because vendors routinely leave them out of a headline figure, and they are real.

Where this pricing does not apply

Two engagements sit outside the per-trader model, because the work is not the platform.

Custom platform builds are scoped and quoted individually — the per-trader price still applies to the running platform, but the build itself is a project.

Fractional executives are a retainer plus revenue share, since you are engaging a person rather than licensing software.

Fraud Intelligence Network access is also available standalone to firms running another trading stack entirely. That is priced separately — raise it on a call.

Pricing questions

Is there a minimum?
Nexus Connect has no minimum — at 10 active traders it is $200 a month. Any deployment including the Operations Platform carries the $5,000 monthly platform fee, which is the floor regardless of trader count. Neither carries a percentage-of-revenue component; we do not take a share of your evaluation sales.
What counts as an active trader?
A trader who placed at least one order during the billing month. Not accounts provisioned, and not accounts sold. One person with several accounts counts once.
Do I have to take both products?
No. Nexus Connect and the Operations Platform are each available on their own at $20 per active trader per month. The $35 combined rate is a discount on taking both, not a requirement. Note the $5,000 platform fee applies to Operations either way — only Connect on its own avoids it.
Does the price change as we grow?
The per-trader rate is the published rate; volume arrangements exist at scale and are written into the contract rather than applied silently. The $5,000 platform fee does not scale down at volume — it is a floor, not a tier.
Is market data really included in the $20?
The market data supporting the simulated evaluation environment is included in Nexus Connect. Additional venues or entitlement scope beyond your program's standard requirement are quoted separately, because those carry exchange costs we cannot absorb generically. See [market data](/market-data).
How does this compare to building it ourselves?
That depends entirely on your engineering cost, and the honest comparison includes the operations headcount both options need. The [price calculator](/pricing/calculator) shows exactly what Nexus costs at your trader count; the rest of the comparison is your own engineering and operations cost.
