Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no setup fees for Operations, Nexus Connect, standalone Onyx or the bundle. The $5,000 recurring monthly platform fee applies only to deployments that include Operations. Separately scoped custom development and third-party fees remain separate.
Is there a minimum?
Nexus Connect and Onyx have no minimum — at 10 entitled users, Connect is $200 a month, and at 10 active traders Onyx on its own is $100. Any deployment including the Operations Platform carries the $5,000 monthly platform fee, which is the floor regardless of trader count. None of the three carries a percentage-of-revenue component; we do not take a share of your evaluation sales.
What counts as a trader on the bill?
For the Operations Platform and Onyx, an active trader: one who placed at least one order during the billing month, not accounts provisioned and not accounts sold. For Nexus Connect, an entitled user: one entitled to the live market-data feed during the month, whether or not they traded. In both cases one person with several accounts counts once.
Do I have to take all three products?
No. The Operations Platform is $20 per active trader per month on its own, Nexus Connect is $20 per entitled user on its own, and Onyx on its own is $10 per active trader. The $35 rate is a discount on taking everything, not a requirement. Note the $5,000 platform fee applies to Operations either way — Connect and Onyx on their own avoid it.
Is Onyx included in Nexus Connect?
Yes. Nexus Connect is the data feed and SIM trading, and every Connect trader gets both trading UIs — Nexus Trader and Onyx — on the same accounts, so a Connect deployment does not pay for Onyx separately. The standalone $10 price is for firms that take their market data from Rithmic or Ironbeam and want Onyx as the front-end. Onyx keeps its own site at onyx-trader.com.
Does the price change as we grow?
The per-trader rate is the published rate; volume arrangements exist at scale and are written into the contract rather than applied silently. The $5,000 platform fee does not scale down at volume — it is a floor, not a tier.
Is market data really included in the $20?
The market data supporting the simulated evaluation environment is included in Nexus Connect. Additional venues or entitlement scope beyond your program's standard requirement are quoted separately, because those carry exchange costs we cannot absorb generically. See market data.
How does this compare to building it ourselves?
